Philosophy

The Callie’s Kids Child Care and Early Learning Center is a collaborative effort that exists with the assistance, leadership, and parentship of the faculty, staff, community, and each learner. Each Callie’s Kids stakeholder will have a “Say So” in achieving the mission and vision of the Center.

The mission of the Callie’s Kids Child Care and Early Learning Center is to provide age-appropriate differentiated instruction that will assist its’ learners in becoming critical thinkers and problem solvers with a high degree of emotional intelligence.

The vision of the Callie’s Kids Child Care and Early Learning Center is to prepare its’ learners with age-appropriate skills, patience, and encouragement needed to be life-long learners who can impact their life successfully.

Callie’s Kids Five Ethical Standards and Core Values Of The Center

Standard 1: We shall always maintain our integrity by never intentionally harming children, staff, or any one of the Center. Nor shall we participate in practices that are emotionally damaging, physically harmful, disrespectful, degrading, dangerous, exploitative, or intimidating to anyone within our employment or care.

Standard 2: We shall ensure the Center is providing the highest quality of service to all stakeholders of the Center by providing the highest quality of care and education in settings that are safe, healthy, nurturing, and responsive for all employees, children, and parents of the Center.

Standard 3: We shall be compassionate and committed to supporting the faculty, staff, and students’ development and learning, while respecting individual differences and helping those within the Center to live, play, and work cooperatively.

Standard 4: We shall apply for, accept, and work in positions for which we are personally well-suited and professionally qualified. We shall not offer services that we do not have the competence, qualifications, or resources to provide. All employees of the Center shall be remitted a fair and equitable wage based on their experience, years of service, and employment evaluations. In addition, the Center shall maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Standard 5: We are committed to promoting children’s creativity, innovation, self-awareness, competence, self-worth, resiliency, and physical well-being by providing positive emotional and social environments that are cognitively stimulating and supportive of each child’s culture, language, ethnicity, and family structure.
